If my mother opened a closet to snoop I would throw her out of my house.
What's that saying? If you go looking for things where you oughtn't, you're sure to find something you wish you hadn't.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Couples have met in crazier places than pottery class.
My uncle meet his 5th wife at a pottery class! But not his current potential one. The current girlfriend he met in square dancing class.
Congratulations, Rick!!!
After about a year we found out that she was pregnant with identical twin boys, which is pretty cute because we both do research with twins and we met at a twin research conference ten years ago.
That's adorable!
screw earplugs, go on holiday. visit some friends or relatives who don't live near construction for a week.
Oh, I do wish I could. But leaving the house for more than a day is a mammoth task. We were talking about going to Torquay (the seaside!) but we'd have to find an accessible hotel, and the local train station is only accessible if you're going in one direction (gotta love that logic), and I'd have to cope without PCAs while we were away. And that's just the beginning. < /disability whine that is in no way interesting >

Fab. My mum met her partner at a weekly dance evening thing near where she lives. I think it helped that she's a good dancer.
Congratulations Rick! And, wow, you clearly need to stop by more, did we know about any of that??

Er, sounds like your uncle is way more enthusiastic about marriage and partnership that many of us buffistas. I think most of us are not looking for fifth or sixth husbands/wives...:)
Now we just have to figure out how each of us can spend 80 hours a week on our jobs and 80 more caring for out infant boys. So far the remaining 8 hours a week for sleep does not seem to be enough.
Each of you strap a papoose on your back and go about your business.
Also, congratulations, and wow!
Wow, Rick! Congratulations!
Hey, I'm at my mom and dad's house, for the first time since I got married, and it's so nice. I'm done with my bigger freelance job, and I'm working on the smaller one in their dining room.
And hey, I got early bday prezzies! And a good night's sleep!
Rick, that is AWESOME! Congrats!
Seska, are you on LJ or Dreamwidth?
Dude, YOU DO NOT CHECK IN HERE OFTEN ENOUGH. Just saying.
Right?! Wow, Rick, very cool news!
