sorry, i was not trying to say don't be unhappy. More, don't give up hope. And Really, i don't want you to wait until you are 60. and that is why i mentioned people my age as well. Partly because i see them as so very different than relationships that happen to people younger. and past is not an indication of future. I've only had one LTR. that is matt.

So apparently my dad is basically in denial, and he told my brother that he needs to focus on his studies and "the other thing, what they found, what they discovered" is wrong and not our culture. And he asked, "What is this about a dog and a cat?" And my brother said that there is a dog and a cat there sometimes, and he said, "That is not going to work." (Fuck the girlfriend, you have PETS????) He said he didn't need to get angry, but my brother had to come have a talk with them. That'll be a fun talk, I'm sure, as my dad obviously believes he can just convince my brother to break up with his girlfriend of three-and-a-half years because it's not our culture.
