Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Trudes, even if you go the I-95 route please don't stop at South of the Border. We mix it up and go various routes. Don't know which way we are going home. I need to leave within 2 weeks so I should give it some thought.

Robin, that bracelet is beautiful! Your DH has good taste.

Is facebook broken for anyone else this morning?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I have driven up and down that coast 400 MILLION times seeing family and I have NEVER gotten to go to South of the Border! NEVER.

I can hardly stand that I'm going down there while you're up here.

When are you heading down, Trudy? You can stop there once, but only if you can shower soon after. (we took the kids there a few times because traveling with little kids you have no choice)

I drive Saturday & Sunday. My plan is to stay the night.

I WANT TO EAT IN A GIANT HAT.

And you are WAY nicer than my parents.

Sex in Space

I keep hearing that in my head as "Pigs...in...SPAAAAAAAACE!!!"

ION, the perfect end to this topsy-turvy week is the migraine that's currently trying to turn my brain into pudding. AWESOME. Fortunately, I'm off work on Fridays, so I have taken handfuls of drugs and am about to go back to bed in the hopes that sleep + drugs will be a magic cure.

t edit And I have "Besame Mucho" (the Chris Isaak) version stuck in my head. I don't think that's related to the migraine, but you never know.

As soon as I posted it started working again, of course.

I think the drugs are kicking in, but they make me loopy and sleepy, so a nap is in my very near future.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Trudy, will you be driving back or flying back?

Because if you take the western route, I assume you'll be driving along I-81. And the Green Valley Book Fair is almost literally a stone's throw from 81. They're only open about 15 weekends a year, and this weekend isn't one of them. But it's a very Buffista bookstore -- great bargains on overstocks, and you never know what you're going to find.
