Do not show him the "Fuck this guy" picture yet.
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Congrats, P-C, that's super cool!
ETA: That is fantastic, Steph. What a great feeling.
Sean, you're both doing a nice job of being kind despite differences.
Do not show him the "Fuck this guy" picture yet.
Heh. I think he'd laugh, but blush at the F-bomb. He knows who Fred Phelps is, and thinks he's disgusting. My BiL is a really good guy.
Sean, you're both doing a nice job of being kind despite differences.
I don't think we're all that different. That's why I really do believe he's going to change his mind.
I'm also trying to convince him to bring the discussion back out in public. I told him the whole discussion we were having was a light that should not be hidden under a bushel.
Yes, I fight dirty.
Sometimes dirt is needed to scour deep seated delusions from the camping dishes of our minds.
Sox, Rahm Emanuel calls those people "fucknuts."(And probably a few other things, too, but you know, man's got a rep.)
I'm less concerned if any of my Christian friends think homosexuality is a sin, provided they remember it's not our place to point out people's sins. We shouldn't even be noticing them; we (Christians, that is) are each supposed to concentrate on our own. My pride, or hatred, or blah is no cleaner than someone else's stuff.
Steph, matt and I were talking about you and Tim the other day - and family issues . We are so happy that you found Tim , because you seem to have also found a family that loves you , just as you . Now after reading about you r FIL's words, I know it is true.
My mom had an exchange with my uncle after I pushed her to call (why, after bullying my dad to follow his instincts and visit, she hadn't called despite my dad being a lousy source of info, I don't know. Well, I do, but.)
When I told him I realized how hard it was for him he replied, "That's what love is."
And he's a fellow taciturn, macho type.
I'm glad that all y'all are getting the same family love.
Sean, that conversation really should be back out in public, if only because I want to continue reading it. I was so impressed with how civil and and intellegent it was.
