And bourbon. Don't forget that.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
The peanut butter cookies are ameliorating the lack of bourbon.
They are the one glorious spot in gluten-free eating.
oh Steph what a rotten way to end a tough day.
Well, the peanut butter cookies ain't bad. And the ambien has kicked in, so I'm going to crawl into bed and pray that the dog is done with pooping for the night.
Thoughts for you and The Boy, Teppy. There's nothing I can add that hasn't been said here already, but I'm thinking of you.
UK Feminista conference yesterday was amazing. Day two today. I'm stretching myself beyond what my body can reasonably do, a bit. But I have a session to run! (I really, really hope someone comes to it.)
Any spare ~ma for The Girl's family would be very much appreciated. He caught an infection while on chemo and is in ICU.
Oh, gah, Seska. I'm sorry, and wishing a good outcome for him.
The good thing about ~ma is we don't ever run out. There's plenty for your Girl's father, for Steph's boy's mother, for sarameg's aunt, for anyone that needs it.
We were looking at the websites of inns in the area that offer package deals. The point being that they do everything, dinner, small cake, bottle of champagne, justice of the peace, etc, and we just have to show up.
My niece's mom did that last year when she married her dude. They could have a small number of people with them, so we were there, and it was pretty cool.
Chloe has pooped and then (this is what we're guessing) starts to flail and then ends up sprawled on the floor and can't get up and ends up lying in it. Generally she doesn't get as much stuck on her fur as she did tonight.
Well, we all mourn in our own way I guess...
t Has no helpful comment on poop in poopy situations

It sounds like elopements now are what small weddings used to be, but you have to call it an elopement so you can get away with a small wedding.
Catching up...two week car saga decided it wasn't over yesterday.

and now a break from our regular scheduling for a brief moment of tranquility: i came home from work to a house smelling of roses. No, really, it smells like roses. Something about the dew on all the roses outside is wafting into my living room in a most amazing way. *wonder*
