Yes. Lucky for you, people may be in danger.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We can add me back to the injuries list - vertigo is back with a vengeance. Don't think I'll be able to make it home by myself without veering into traffic so just texted DH to see if he can escort me home at lunch.

not your mom's socks.

Oh Jars ugh. I had something similar 2 years ago and it was horrible-feeling. Hope it goes away very soon. Balance and non-spinny~ma.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

~ma to ND. Pix, too.

Seska, of course that makes you upset. It's so horrible. BTW, would be interested in reading your paper. With tea to hand, of course.

Me too, smonster. Definitely sounds like a hypermobility thing. I am of the (exceptionally un-medically-informed) opinion that a lot more people have hypermobility problems than know about it.

Oh, I have a list as long as my arm of reasons why I have it. Just never been diagnosed.

Erin, love, that sounds horrible. I hope you feel better, soon.

And you too, Jars. And omnis and Sean. WTF, universe, back off my peeps!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

People! Stop being in pain or having funny head-swimming things! Also, be able to concentrate on putting together your important presentations!

Aww! The 'mac and cheese in the mail' idea is so adorable of you all. It will cost you a small fortune in postage, though, so you really shouldn't. But thank you! *bounce*

Can't do a damn' thing about your PhD funding, but by gum, that stuff is on sale this week like a sign from On High, and I don't care if it costs more in postage than it does to actually buy it. You deserve some good old fashioned Orange American Non-Aerosol Cheezfood.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Health~ma all round, sounds like almost everyone needs it today!

I, however, feel great. (Despite my GI tract yesterday letting me know that I *really* should stop eating bread, no, seriously, now.) Over the past few weeks I have: (1) stopped drinking soda, (2) started taking kelp supplements for iodine, (3) *lowered* my Wellbutrin dose, and (4) started taking Deplin, and I feel almost... well, what I imagine normal might feel like. If I can manage to (5) exercise daily, (6) east a vegetable every now and then, and (7) stop eating bread, I should (8) lose the weight, and then maybe (9) my joints will stop hurting and I'll be okay.

Arabic numbers are so cute.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

You are so sweet! Thank you thank you thank you! The Girl will be very amused that people other than her are acting as my international mac and cheese dealers.

BTW, would be interested in reading your paper. With tea to hand, of course.

You're welcome to read whatever I produce, although that will mainly be in (possibly illegible) note form, as it's a verbal presentation and group discussion. I will put 'email notes to smonster' on my to-do list for after the weekend.

We can add me back to the injuries list - vertigo is back with a vengeance.

Not good. I hope your DH can help, and that you get home safely. Are you leaving work early? Get rest!

Seska, I think it's more or less always been okay to end sentences on prepositions, in which case it's grammatically correct in any case! I think. Maybe I made that up to make myself feel better. Hmm.

Heh. I think it's technically incorrect but often done in informal usage. I have my 'former English teacher' pride, though!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Teppy, if you DO decide you'd rather go with George Clooney, give my grandmother a call. She knows some of his Cincy relatives.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Tell your grandmother I'd share. Grandmothers like that.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Groovy Barb. And no nervous breakdowns please.

Oy. I love my boy, but when I woke up with him next to me in the middle of the night, I abandoned my bed for his so he wouldn't wake me at early o'clock in the morning. So what does he do when he wakes up? Comes down the hall to find me and crawls back into his own bed. And proceeds to wake me up. It's like I gave birth to a puppy.
