Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Aww! The 'mac and cheese in the mail' idea is so adorable of you all. It will cost you a small fortune in postage, though, so you really shouldn't. But thank you! *bounce*

I've done that.

Me too, smonster. Definitely sounds like a hypermobility thing. I am of the (exceptionally un-medically-informed) opinion that a lot more people have hypermobility problems than know about it.

Steph, we're ignoring etiquette and giving '+ guest' invitation to everyone who is unattached at time of sending out invites, because it can be really boring going to a wedding alone. But under no circumstances will we be '+ guest'ing someone who has a partner. How hard is it to put two names instead of one? (There's even Facebook for looking up those pesky names for the person whose relatively new boyfriend's name you've forgotten.)

Oh dear God and all Her angels. I am never going to finish this presentation on feminism and disability for the UK Feminista conference this weekend. This is the one audience I particularly don't want to look incompetent in front of*. But every time I get into researching how many disabled women experience domestic violence and all of that horrible stuff, I get upset and have to go and get a cup of tea. And it never gets finished. Wah. Time for more tea.

*I'm not making that sentence grammatically correct.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Nothing much~ma to Drew.

Best of luck Drew and Pix, much hope-it's-nothing-ma heading your way, where it must be the middle of the night.

Seska, I think it's more or less always been okay to end sentences on prepositions, in which case it's grammatically correct in any case! I think. Maybe I made that up to make myself feel better. Hmm.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

hoping it's notthing~ma to ND!!!!

Well, i think my excessive of cranberry is working, as that area no longer hurts. However i did sublux three ribs while sleeping and woke up (3 hours before my alarm) to agonizing pain of the kind that made a 30 second phone call to my dr take 2 minutes, while i tried to talk btwn sobs. I can't yet figure out a way to blame the cats, there's really no indication that they were jumping on my neck while i slept.

Not sure how i drove to the office on my own, but i did (without hitting any pedestrians), and cried some more, and got adjusted and taped and biofreezed and iced. Then my Chiro (bless her to the ends of the earth) reminded me that i have a TENS unit which has enabled me to get through a full night at work. Well, i still have three hours to go but i made it through the toughest, most active part of the evening just fine, albeit with minimal head movements. I love my tens unit with a burning, radiating, stabbing kind of love. And as soon as i get home i shall love some flexeril just as much.

eta: part of the tears was me asking the Chiro if too much cranberry concentrate and overhydtation might have caused my back and neck misery. She laughed and said absolutely not.

Erin, ugh. That all sounds horrible. I hope getting taped up helps. At least the cranberry's been helpful! Hope the other pain gets less soon, too.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

the one good think about agonizing pain in the back is that nothing else hurts! hahaha, ok, until i wake up tomorrow.

We can add me back to the injuries list - vertigo is back with a vengeance. Don't think I'll be able to make it home by myself without veering into traffic so just texted DH to see if he can escort me home at lunch.

Oh Jars ugh. I had something similar 2 years ago and it was horrible-feeling. Hope it goes away very soon. Balance and non-spinny~ma.
