And boys -- let's watch the swearing.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Oh Aims! So sorry. Sinus infections are nasty enough to begin with.

So I'm still in the hospital. Drew has been sleeping for the past couple of hours, but his O2 levels have been much more stable. I might be able to take him home in an hour or two. Honestly, right now I'm jealous of his sleep! I only got four hours last night and have been up ever since. Not complaining; just wishing the hospital bed were big enough for both of us.

Well, you're quite wee! Just curl up in there somewhere.

So, yesterday I got a call from an intern of an organization I'd interviewed with saying that the exec. director would be getting in touch with me today to schedule an interview tomorrow or Thursday. However, it's past 4 and I haven't heard anything. I did call yesterday afternoon after getting my voicemail to confirm I got it and to check in to see if I needed to do anything else but wait on the Exec. Director (there was a little bit of the message garbled at the end, so I figured it would be better to check)- I didn't get a person, but I left a voicemail.

Argh, I know the ED is swamped, and that's why (I'm sure) she sent word ahead of time as an FYI, but I really wish she'd call...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The moving guy called! I have a moving date!

Now I need to finish packing, do all the moving paperwork, and hire a housecleaning service to come clean stuff after I leave.

Favorite pick up line ever.

Either way it goes, you weed out the riffraff straight away. Genius.

Drew is home and much more coherent. Sure he will check in himself in a bit. I am making soup and then napping.

Pix, hoping that Drew continues to recover apace.

Super yay for a moving date!

I am skeeved by house elf pick up lines. That is one regatta I do not wanna watch.

Speaking of skeevy, a dude on OKC chat wanted me to leave him my panties somewhere. Like, e was gonna leave work mid day and drive to wherever I left them. All anonymous. I said no. And then there was the dude who told me straight up he had a wife, and when I stated clearly I had no interest whatsoever in any crap like that, he told me it was okay b/c she's in Germany. ISTG, people.
