So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Timelies all.

I don suppose anyone can paypal me $20. This month has been spectacularly draining on my wallet since I got back, and the few paychecks and unemployment checks are being slow in coming. Today, the mail came and there were no checks, and I need food for the day and gas in the car.

I still haven't paid July rent.

So yeah, anybody?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Toddson, my father used to say, "God must love stupid people; He made so many of them." How frustrating for you.

I think I just stained a red t-shirt by dribbling while eating fresh cherries. WTF? It's red. It's cherries.

It's on its way, Sean. And now I have to hurry or I'll be late for work.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Sean, I'm not sure that this will come out right, but I'm glad to see you reaching out for help. Holla if $20 won't cut it.

Several more boxes packed. And I went to the store and got a bunch more boxes, too. I'm leaving the kitchen for last, because I think I might need bigger boxes for some of that stuff, and I really have no idea what I'm doing.

So far, three boxes of books, and I'm maybe 1/4 of the way through those. I also have to figure out how to pack my Rock Band stuff.

Also, there is the time-honored selling books and DVD's at a Half Price books for Ramen money. Granted, you get about $15 for a shitton of bring-in's but I have squeaked by many a poor week with that method.

Since I am out a job as of this week, garage sale and judicious weeding of the shelves will be once again my main source of household money contributions till I land another gig.

I've been a lot better since the trip. I've had a LOT of stuff to deal with, since the moment I got back, but the trip was so refreshing that I can't be bothered to get upset over them. I've had obstacles, not problems.

However, the universe is seriously testing my abilitiy to maintain this attitude. So far, I'm still winning, though.

I just got the schedule for the courses I'm teaching first semester. Horrible schedule, but I really can't be picky. (Four days a week, I've got two classes early in the morning, and then two late in the afternoon.) My contract says I teach 24 credits per year, and it looks like they've got me teaching 16 first semester, so I'm not sure if that means that I'll just have 8 second semester, or what.
