Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

OMG! Have you seen this counter-protest at Comic-Con? [link] (in response to craxy Westboro Baptist Church protesting Comic-Con)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I broke down at my doctor's office today, which didn't get me much progress on my pain issues, but it did get me a higher dose of anti-depressants.

Our wings are not tired.

As amych notes, Phillies fans are infamously bad.

I had totally forgotten that! When I lived there it was a source of constant amusement.

I'm sorry to hear that, sj. Did they have any new plan to control your pain?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, sj, I'm sorry. I mean, glad that you're getting a better AD dose, but I wish the physical pain was better, and it just kind of sucks to fall apart, period.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Hil - contact your local TJ's and tell them you want their milk and cereal boxes. Best boxes ever.

Well, every time I go down to 5 mg of the steroids, the pain comes back. So, he put me back on 7.5 mg for another month, and he is going to make an appointment for me at a rhuemetologist(sp?). However, he thinks they will also take the wait and see approach until something shows up on my bloodwork (so far nothing has). I'm really just feeling discouraged, and there is this stupid little voice in the back of my head that keeps say, "What made you think you were allowed to have a normal, happy life?"

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, sj. That's awful. I hope the rheumatologist can help.

Thanks guys. I really overdid it with the babysitting for a cranky sick toddler this past two weeks, which is just really discouraging, because I so want kids.
