Or maybe you could just be Buffy, he'll see your amazing heart, and he'll fall in love with you.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Shir, this might sound like a silly question. Do women and men serve in the same units in the Israeli services? I ask since all the pics had your sister with various other women, but nary a male to be seen.

Yes and no - it depends which unit. To tell the truth, my sister serves in the only unit I know of that is mostly "women-only" - not as a limitation, but because they've discovered that women do this specific task better than men. Most combat units and roles are still closed to women. The other roles/unit - which, if memory serves me, go up to 93% - are open to both sexes. In a lot of the combat units, even if the job can't be done be a women (weight carrying, physical fit, etc.), it will usually be a woman guiding the boys on weapons. I think that 99% of the teaching and guidance roles are preformed by women in IDF.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

They put them with the kosher food at Raley's. Which, it never ceases to amuse me, is right next to the pickled pigs feet.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Aimee, as a writing teacher, I wouldn't recommend BSing the paper if you don't know the show well, particularly not on a show the professor loves. Then again, you don't need encyclopedic knowledge to write a 4-6 page paper either. Find the happy medium. Can you rent/hulu/netflix/whatever a few episodes? You just need a few choice examples that fit with your reading.

Shir, your sister is lovely, but so are you. I won't try to quantify which of you is loveliest. I really love hearing all you have to say about her, and looking at pictures of her, because the more I think about her, the more safety~ma I send out for her.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Ok, now I'm curious. But I'm guessing ya can't tell for security reasons, and I certainly don't want to risk your sisters safety for my curiosity.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Blah. Aunt and Uncle (on my side, not The Girl's), committed right-wing Christians, are refusing to come to civil partnership ceremony. We sort of expected this. However, in a total embodiment of British passive-aggressive repression, they say in almost the same sentence that they want us to sit and have tea and cake with them as much as possible in 2010, along with their son they haven't told about us. We're writing the 'calling you out on your Britishness' letter right now. Damn those Brits. Everyone should be Irish, like the other side of my family, and shout about things until they're settled.

Happy Tuesday, all! Hope all's well with everyone today.

Aimee is it a television without pity show? Can you choose to focus on something from an early season and read all the recaps up to then?

Now tagless for your comfort.

We got one of these for Olivia's bff for Hanukkah. I need to find something small to go inside. Maybe a bracelet or something.

That is so exceptionally cool, Cash, that it makes me wish I celebrated Hanukkah, too.

How have you been feeling?
