Did she enjoy the bath, or did she give you the eyes of betrayal?
Definitely eyes of betrayal. We don't have a detachable shower head, so I had to use the bucket method. She did
not
understand why mom was dumping buckets of warm water on her. I did a lot of chasing her around the yard. She did seem to enjoy the chasing part, and she got two new toys afterwards, so I think she'll forgive me.
Aww. And she's performed her first squeakectomy on one of her stuffed toys. Poor monkey face. You had such a short life.
Hee. The Biscuit received a new squeaky toy today in honor of having his teeth scraped on unceremoniously. But, dude, his teeth are bad, yo. Looking a little better now, and I'll keep working on them, but we'll need to get them properly done as soon as we get home from the summer.
Matilda and Emmett update:
Matilda: Whinny! Whinny! I'm a horsie!
Emmett: Mmm.
Matilda: Oh, my brother horsie!
Emmett: I refuse to be a horse.
Matilda (sympathetically): You're a confused horse.
That kid is funny.
K, I don't recall how long it took to get Kittenish's meeds to show results. But my vet was pretty helpful when I'd pester. We had to tweak the dose for a while. Up, up, up, up and more up in her case. But it's worth asking. I am thinking a week but it was a long time ago so I could really be wrong.
At least she didn't call him a Man-Pony.
Brenda, I was so thinking of Kara too!
