You never know if a girl's gonna say 'yes', or if she's gonna laugh in your face and pull out your still-beating heart and crush it into the ground with her heel.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Laura, the lake looks so gorgeous! And that was an impressive catch. Did you eat it or release it?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

DJ, I'm so sorry! Poor kitty. Damn irresponsible dog-owners.

Our wings are not tired.

Released to go forth and make more big fishes. My sister wants to put the video on the lake's website, but we figure we should have had my son hold the fish instead of DH for a more realistic view of the size of the fishy.

Every bar and restaurant up here has fish fry available so no need to do any work ourselves.

sj, I know nothing about dosage stuff, but it sounds like it should be fine. Is it wrong of me to want you to post if you are loopy?

The status is NOT quo.

sj, you may fall asleep, but you're in no danger.

DJ and Fred, I'm so sorry about each of your sad kitty news.

-----

So I'd planned to go back to sleep after I'd fed the pets and let Kaylee do her business outside. I came back in to find that Byron had puked the food I'd just fed him all over the sheets, right where I normally sleep. I'm pretty sure this is payback for the puppy. Sigh. Anyway, sheets are in the laundry, and I'm waiting 15 minutes so I can call the vet's office and see if I can get him in today for tests to make sure this isn't just anger/depression about the pup. No bad news~ma would be good.

Because books.

Laura, we should definitely try to make a F2F work this summer, since we didn't last summer!

sj, I think you might just be sleepy, if anything.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The fact that it's on the bed suggests to me that it's more about spite than otherwise, Kristin.

Absolutely! I seriously considered kidnapping you and dragging you to Providence with me. DH and Bobby are back in Florida now so it just me and Brendon. If you want to escape any time come on up. I will get to Hannibal at some point to visit my niece. Will let you know when that happens. I think she has been at the beach every day for the last week.

Ann, that's a ferret.

((((Byron)))) Even if it's spite, the vet may have some ideas to help him accept the new addition to the family.

Oh, I bet she goes to Fair Haven, which is where we go. It's lovely.

And yes, definitely! Maybe Sara and I could take a mini road trip and come out to see you. We should make plans.

I'd think this except he always crawls onto the bed after eating, so if he got sick, that's just where he would be. My biggest fear is that the night Zoe died and Byron escaped for all those hours, he could have contracted something. He hasn't been able to get vaccination boosters since he developed vaccine associated cancer and lost his leg two years ago, so he's not protected. I have a 10:20 appointment. I doubt I'll know much right away since they'll likely do blood tests and such.
