I think Basenjis are awesome dogs but there's no way I could handle a puppy. One of my great aunt and uncles always had one, after my great uncle died the basenji died and it was really hard on my great aunt and her kids went to a breeder and found an older laid back dog for her. Otherwise there's now way she could have had another basenji.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Kate I'm so sorry.
{{{Kate}}} - pass some of those along to your boy and his whole family. How awful.
{{{ Kate }}}
Kate, that's horrible. I'm so sorry.
Kate, I am so sorry.
Kate, I am so very sorry.
That's awful, Kate. I'm sorry.
So sorry, Kate.
The Biscuit is a rez dog, so there's no real knowing what breed. But he's primarily Australian Shepherd according to the vets. They also gave him a birthday, which just happened last month, so we celebrate even though we don't know for reals.
When we get him a bit more consistent, we'll totally post piano playing videos. That's what the Flip was made for, right? And also the internet.

Yes, this!
Speaking of happy-making puppy videos, I present two more. Both are under 30 seconds.
The first is my friend Cricket, who sometimes lurks around here under the name cricket_sound (I think), bonding with Kaylee by crawling into her bed: [link]
The second is Kaylee learning to play fetch. Sort of: [link]
ETA: Sean, I'm on my way to pick you up for Operation Puppy (to ease those post-travel blues).
