Erin, what a relief. I'm sorry the guy has been so ridonkulous throughout this process.
Puppy likes carrots, I know. I have to ask, though...do you all think we should keep the name the rescue gave her (Posey von Pilsner...ha!) or rename her? Any ideas for names? Her personality is apparently mellow and sweet, so Posey does fit, but that's not the type of name I'd usually pick.
How well do puppies respond to name changes, if that's what she thinks her name is?
I really like the name Posey. I actually like the whole thing.
Steph, shall we take it to email?
My mom's new(ish) dog has had no problems adjusting to her new name. She was a stray when the rescue group put her with a foster family who named her Matilda, and Mom changed it to Millie, which she responds to with no problem.
I really like the Posey von Pilsner name.
Yeah, she's only 3.5 months old, so a name change wouldn't bother her. I do kind of agree that Posey von Pilsner is an awesome name, but I'm waiting to see what ND thinks. Thanks for the affirmation (and the tolerance of the carrots).
I'm kinda partial to renaming her.
I like the von Pilsner part! Maybe if you think of another P name, shed adapt?
We kept initials when we got our doggies. Both were at least a year, so we wanted to stick somewhat close to their "given" names. Lilith became Layla and Trouble became Truman.
