Lindsey: Why--why did you... Lorne: One last job. You're not part of the solution, Lindsey. You never will be. Lindsey: You kill me? A flunky?! I'm not just...Angel...kills me. You...Angel... Lorne: Good night, folks.

'Not Fade Away'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I really like the Posey von Pilsner name.

The status is NOT quo.

Yeah, she's only 3.5 months old, so a name change wouldn't bother her. I do kind of agree that Posey von Pilsner is an awesome name, but I'm waiting to see what ND thinks. Thanks for the affirmation (and the tolerance of the carrots).

Our wings are not tired

I'm kinda partial to renaming her.

I like the von Pilsner part! Maybe if you think of another P name, shed adapt?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We kept initials when we got our doggies. Both were at least a year, so we wanted to stick somewhat close to their "given" names. Lilith became Layla and Trouble became Truman.

Ooh. Aparently thisnplane has wifi. I'm so tempted to do it just to have done it, but I really don't think I'll be needing to. Not sure how much it costs, but I suspect it's more than it's worth to me. But knowing I could!! (we are on the ground boarding at the moment)

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Steph, shall we take it to email?

I endorse this plan!

Compassionately intolerant

Pix, you can easily rename a dog in about 3 days total. If it comes to that, send me an email and I'll send you the step by step.

They called Bartleby 'Spanky' at the shelter. Anyone who has met him would say what I said...No. Just. No. Since Hagrid already had the very best name nabbed, I thought I'd call Bartleby Bart, or Barty. Nope. Never happened. He is so perfectly Bartleby.

All this to say, Posey may just suggest her own name when you meet her.

Having a hard consonant or two is helpful, too. Dog's prefer hard Rs, Ts, Ks and Gs.

Imagine having to call out, at a distance, to keep her from danger. Pick name that shouts easily out of your mouth.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Somehow, I don't think of a German Shepard as a Posey. That name sounds like something that could fit in a teacup.

bonny, I never knew that about R, T, K and G. My ex and I hand Keeshonds and they always started with K: Kaia, Keesha, Krysta. Mainly to go with the K in Keeshond, but it's nice to know we were doing good, anyway!

Our wings are not tired.

Cayenne's name was "Dasher", and since she didn't look like a reindeer, she got renamed.

I always think of Parker Posey when I hear "Posey".

I am super duper excited for DJ's trip!! I would like to see India. Steve would never go, so I'd drag megan along. But first we need to go visit my aunt in Kenya.
