A year and a half ago, I could have eviscerated him with my thoughts. Now I can barely hurt his feelings. Things used to be so much simpler.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

swoons

If any Bitches feel like a shopping trip to St. Louis, I do have a spare bedroom.

Oh, wow! It's things like that that make me realize I need to learn how to sew, in the sense of able-to-do-basic-alterations. There are 2 fantastic vintage stores in my neighborhood, and they do occasionally have things in my size, but not always. But there are some things that are just a little too small, like dresses with full/circle skirts, that I could cut the top off and change the waistband and make into a skirt. If only I knew how.

I suppose I could just buy them and take them to a tailor, but I'd kind of like to be able to do that stuff for myself.

ION, it's yet another furlough Friday, and I have to take my car in to get an oil change and brake pads and a drive belt. It's been planned/budgeted for, but I still hate shelling out that much $$ when I'd rather buy Christmas presents with it.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

GRONK.

I am not prepared to make any further statements at this time.

Coding and Sleeping

I need to change the oil on both of our cars. At least it looks like Saturday might be nice enough that I can just do it myself. Doing both at once will same some time, I rarely get the oil change alignment like this.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Wow -- that link reminded me.

I have a friend with a number of pieces of vintage clothing from his parent's. His daughter would like them, but has no room for them now. so what is the best storage method, and also the easiest?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Is it wierd that this conversation is making me want an SO? I mean, 99% of the time I'm fine with being single, but sometimes something makes me have a twinge for a BF. Although, perhaps my getting nostalgic about stories of people cleaning up someone else's poop is the reason that I'm single.

Right there with you, Vortex.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Is it wierd that this conversation is making me want an SO?

No. I'd love to have someone to take care of me when I need it. But so far, even when I've had an SO, I haven't had anyone taking care of me, so I'm hesitant about trying that whole thing again.

Once bitten, twice shy. Five times bitten, just fuck it all.

he can, will, and has dealt with me at some truly less than pleasant physical moments.

And you've done the same for me. It's what makes it work - the whole 'in good times and bad' thing.

Plus, the cuteness thing doesn't go away when you're sick. IJS.

Hubby and I often say we're quite ready for the "health" and "better" portion of the vows to kick in again.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.
