I just typed this into the "how did we do" end of one of my many chats with customer service about my currently not working new computer.
While having in front of him two previous chats and my explanation that the computer was not talking to the monitor or the keyboard, he still suggested that I update a driver. How? With my brain? When I called him on that, we went through another weary round of "does the power light come on?" which I had also explicitly said in this and previous chats.
Then he pasted in boilerplate for a laptop (I have a desktop) that emphasized the importance of backing up data and removing personal information. I would love to, BUT I CAN'T TALK TO THE COMPUTER.
Also, after finding I'm going to have to send my computer, with all my data on it, into the void, do not wish me a nice day. That ship has sailed.
