I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

they get even better when wee John becomes a toddler who is a cross between Castiel and Dean.

Believe me, I am not a fan of mpreg, but these crack me up.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Err, the slash has been in this thread since before there was b.org.

But MPREG? Even crack? (I cannot wrap my head around the idea that there's non-crack MPREG, honestly), I just don't get.

The one I read and couldn't stop reading (not because it's good -- this is a train rec situation) was non-crack.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why? Why make them pregnant? It's just so...I just don't...I know anything can be written well. I just don't always get the appeal.

Because it's there? I dunno. Beats me.

I did try to write mpreg once. Sort of kind of. Giles/Ethan. In this thread, probably. At WX.

Oh, I am so with you. I am especially with you when it's two random human characters. At least with the occasional Superman mpreg or this one with an angel, there's some plausibility.

Wee John is more about the characters than the mpreg itself.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Yes. Yes you did. The slash has always been in this thread, and sometimes it is Wrong.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Giles/Ethan.

Sorta' like this?

"I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and get knocked up' that gets me every time."

Nah. More of a mystical conception Back in the Day involving no actual gestation. Sort of a Dawn thing. Only with no monks and a lot of HoYay. Picking up cheerfully with the resulting offspring in his 20s.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I am choking back snorts and all kinds of unseemly noises catching up in here.

Except for THIS particular bit of Whovian baby-related stuff. [link]

HOW HAVE I NOT KNOW ABOUT AND SEEN THIS? HOW?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

smonster, I normally wouldn't say this, but I think you must have done something wrong. Otherwise, you would know about "Papa Don't Preach." You should have sensed its existence in the universe.
