You walk in worlds the others can't begin to imagine.

Drusilla ,'Conversations with Dead People'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Congrats on your silver, Connie and Hubby! For a person who supposedly doesn't care about marriage, I'm awfully sniffly right now.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

That's wonderful, Connie, and a lovely tribute. Happy anniversary.

I am on FIYAH today with productivity, both work and personal. Woot!

Compassionately intolerant

Connie, you brought a tear to my eye. What a lovely commemoration.

Bless both your hearts and your union.

Our wings are not tired.

Congrats, Connie.

Go smonster!

I have to get back to work. Trying to work out my summer travel stuff and it is way complex.

Trust my rage

we wouldn't have gotten married except for the whole part where the USG doesn't pay to send girlfriends overseas

Joe still jokes that I made him marry me, but I wasn't moving overseas with him without a marriage license.

And happy 19 years to Raq and DH and 24 to Connie and DH!

brillig

So did anyone else marry the first person who asked? I've always heard that was a sign of being desperate, but heck, I liked the man and thought, "Sure."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So did anyone else marry the first person who asked?

Turned down the first three so far. Only two of them were serious, all three of them were crazy. Only two of them were straight.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So did anyone else marry the first person who asked?

Nope. My high school girlfriend asked me to marry her the summer after I graduated from high school (she was a year behind me). I told her I might consider it after I graduated from college. (I ended up breaking up with her a few months later.)

Haven't asked anyone/been asked since....

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Turned down the first three so far.

There was that guy on TT, with the last name "Bigham", that proposed to you.
