He is with Drew and our friend Mark. I wasn't home. I just hope he knows that he needs to go into the hospital. We aren't equipped to help him really, and I just want him to get help and get better.

I hope he does too. The hospital is ultimately what helped me, not just the actual stuff they did in the immediate aftermath but having a safe place to process and deal with everything.

Shir, I think it is awesome that you have channeled such a disgusting horrible event into energy to create something positive.
Feh, no kids home tonight so I made a great dinner and had thoughts of lounging in the spa with chilly tasty beverages, and DH has basketball games until late. Oh well, I ate my share of the dinner and poured a tall glass and am watching previously recorded General Hospital. Not exactly romantic evening, but relaxing nonetheless.
