Oh, yeah, baby, it's snakalicious in here.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Thanks, Pix!

Fwiw, I've had similar issues with eustachian tube dysfunction, and it really does usually resolve itself with allergy meds.

Oh wow that is great to hear. Well, if I could hear.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

It's still annoying as hell in the meantime, though.

(You can tell I've finished my dissertation. I'm posting his ridiculous songs again.)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Bleargh. I'm awake. Not supposed to take more pain meds for another hour, but might anyway.

Also, I just checked my email, and I've got another job interview. So far, every school that's shown interest in me is in Georgia.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Welcome back!

Bleargh. I'm awake. Not supposed to take more pain meds for another hour, but might anyway.

I hope you got some rest.

We desire you in GA, Hil. Getting interview requests is great in this academic budget year.

Georgia is good. If you need to come to Atlanta for interviews, I have a guest room.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Okay, I went and read the Dylan whitefont. Good thing my mouth was beverage-free at the time. Silly boy.

Happy belated 5th to Em! Can't believe how big she's getting.

All of a sudden I am SO FAR BEHIND at work. Of course, it only seems like all of a sudden, it's more the result of gradual slacking + holiday + extra day off. I'm just trying not to freak out and take things one at a time.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Barclays Bank: ACCESS FAIL. We have been given masses of misinformation, been refused the right to change our address with the bank either on the phone or online, been refused telephone access to the disability services department, been refused the copy of the statement that I desperately need for my care services financial returns, been refused a large-print statement, been told to make an appointment at a branch even though we keep explaining that this is an inaccessible half-day exhausting exercise for me, been refused an e-mail address to make a complaint... The Girl is currently on the phone with her bank, asking them to open an account for me there.

My friend has suggested calling one of the radio disability programmes or TV consumer affairs shows. I might just think about this, when I calm down a bit.
