I'm at work. Tonight is closing night for the spring musical, so after the show we pack up all the sound gear. Ya fun way to spend Saturday night. I came in early to finish my online class for sexual harrasement training. Figured it was better to finish while no voice lessons were going on. Now just waiting for the show to end.

OMG, tonight has been my first Saturday night dispatching police downtown this close to summer. Oy vey. Talk about rolling clusterf@ck! I'm very much enjoying a frosty rootbeer now as a tonic to my nerves. I think my poor coach may have pulled out most of his hair in less than 30 minutes.

I'm guessing the inauguration date for Obama's successor, in their preferred vision of the future.
Having a hard time knowing what to wish for right now.
This evening, the weather is predicted to be hor-eeeb-lay at exactly the hour I am supposed to be officiating my first same sex wedding...on a balcony...overlooking the city.
It's dastardly hot and sticky, such that none of my normal officiating clothes are going to work. I made the mistake of wearing the one ubercool, would have worked, outfit to the rehearsal dinner already. Bah.
The apartment is really too small for the ceremony...which is quite long and detailed.
If it just stormed like a mean drunk right now and then cleared up some...with the cooler temps promised...all would be well. But that doesn't seem possible.
Eh. Okay.
I guess all I need is, fun anyway ~ma.
