Our cat sniffs but won't taste people food, [snip] But I even tried giving her tuna and she did not seem to care.
This used to be Kittenish. DxH was boggled when she didn't want the water from a can of tuna. She'd sniff things but didn't want to eat them.
Now? She eats tuna (thankfully a cat version with cat nutrients) nearly exclusively. And stole a steak off of a date's plate when I cooked for us one night. She's all about the quality protein.
She'll tell anyone who will listen that she also LOVES cheese but she's lactose intolerant and I clean up enough cat puke, so no. But in San Diego, before I realized this, I think she loved taquito nights as much as I did. Mmm, shreddy cheese.
Cat + corn-on-the-cob = I have NO idea.
Dude. That's a cat eating corn on the cob. Like a badass cat.
She wasn't just licking the butter off, though; she was extricating kernels and eating them whole.
Weird cat.
I still run into people who believe the U.S. FOUND weapons of mass destruction in Iraq (not including the ones they brought with them) after the invasion. I suspect Israel and the U.S. have a lot in common in terms of poisonous atmospheres of public opinion.
OK, yeah, that's a weird cat.
I know a cat who likes to eat watermelon. WTF? I used to shake my head at him and say, "aren't you supposed to be a carnivore?"
My little gray cat Niko loved to eat watermelon! I'd give her a chunk and she'd sit on her haunches like a squirrel and hold the chunk in one paw and eat it sitting there. She was crazy for watermelon. I don't believe cats can't taste sweet things.
Oh, that's a really cute mental picture, Zen.
Hey, how'd that vanilla solid perfume turn out? I've been wondering.

"Sometimes I like to crumble the Weetabix in the blood. Gives it a little texture."
