I get confused. I remember everything. I remember too much, and... some of it's made up, and... some of it can't be quantified, and... there's secrets.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Toddson, I have no grasp on the fashionable, but some sense of the comfortable:

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Wasn't vagina dentata a thing with some of the Romantic poets?

And some nail people...

Sigh. I took my friends to Diva Dolls today, where of course I saw a bunch of stuff I really want and can't afford. Some shoes I have zero need for, but were sooooo adorable. But I never wear heels these days, so $129 for a pair I won't wear? Yeah...(google irregular choice flick flack black if you want to drool).

Also, I'm guessing since I haven't heard anything, and they said beginning of the week, and I know they had their roundtable last Thursday (and my references haven't said they were contacted) that I didn't get the job I interviewed for. Which was one that the person who would have been my boss specifically asked me to interview for. Ouch. Apparently my competition had an MD and and MBA, but still!!! Eesh.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Hivemind question. Does anyone know the difference between retirement programs 403(b) and 457(b)?? New university job offers both. I already have two 403(b) accounts from two previous employers. Wondering if the 457 is a good idea for options? But not sure what the diff's are. My half hearted clicking has netted not much info. Seems everyone wants to over simplify, which means it tells you nothing.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'm sorry, meara.

This sounds to me like Swedish porn. Narrated by the Swedish chef.

Since Hungarian is closest to Finnish, that makes sense.

And also: don't you hate it when you get a flattery comment on a blog, which smells like a fishy spam with the link/attitude, but there's still an element of doubt that it's legit (Hebrew use of the word)? I think that the "newbie on the internet/just don't know how to use it" excuse should be exterminated (since that's where the doubt is). You watch and learn, grasshopper, you watch and learn. Only then comment.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Much ~ma to your friend, Sox.

Crocs are my new tiaras. I want them all. They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Good arch support, comfy, breathe, anti-microbial.
I wear them for work. Delicate flower of fat womanhood that I am, the arch support and the cushion are more than rubies to me. I highly recommend finding a Crocs outlet at an outlet mall, for spendy goodness.

Todd, get some Doc Martens. They're comfy and will always be rad.

My feeling about Doc Martens is that, if I'm going to throw down that much cash for a pair of shoes or boots, I don't want to have to throw down more for cushioned insoles with actual arch supports.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Shir: It's a bit rude of me, but in those situations I edit the comment to delete the link. This is, after all, your right as a blog owner.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

That's where I tend to, Seska.

He can practice on being vaguely understood in other realms of the internet.

Also: it took me a month and two hours to write what I want on my henna tattoo, but I just sent the instructions to my graphic-designer friend. Yay! I can't wait to wear it on me. If I would have ever made up my mind about the content of a tattoo, despite all my hate to unnecessary pain, I'm pretty sure the basic design I'd have on me.

Trust my rage

When I was pregnant with Frisco, I developed major pain in the heel of one of my feet. I went and bought a pair of brown crocs and black crocs and wore them every day of the rest of my pregnancy. I wore the black ones until they fell apart and I still wear the brown ones.

I just tried to find a picture but i'm not sure they even make that style anymore. But they were cute and comfortable.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

See? People who never even wore gauchos back me up!
