The people I knew on the East Coast with second houses, had places that were uninhabitable in the winter.
Yeah, my family's place in Canada is a non-winterized log cabin. So it sits empty when we're not there because it's under three feet of snow with no heating or insulation.
I think Fay lived in Budapest for a bit.
You should see
Wings of Desire
before you go to Berlin.
I just saw
The Lives of Others.
Does that count?
Both are excellent movies. I heard
The Lives of Others
was being remade in the US. That makes no sense to me.
We're watching a shows about wine so I went to make myself a glass only to find I had used all my wine glasses to make jello! I am now enjoying wine in a POM tea glass.

That's what I thought I saw on IMDb, but there was no information. That totally makes no sense, indeed. Hell, part of why it was so good was that it was ballsy for a German movie to be that critical. It's not the same if we're the ones making the critique; we didn't live it.

It counts, but you definitely still need to see
Wings of Desire.
Wow. Fast onset cold. Feeling like crap on toast. Glands are huge, and the snot demons in my sinuses are hard at work. Wish I had some ice cream.
I think we need a little -- printo ut your tickets okay~ma,
SLNRLBF is having problems, I think because it's two different airlines but he's having trouble printing out the tickets and keeps getting error message sending him in circles.
