You know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go get and beat you with until you understand who's in ruttin' command here.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Oooh, those are cute shoes, sj.

I thought of you, but sadly they do not come in a black background. If they did, I would already own them.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Though I like the Most Interesting Man in the World radio commercials.

Yeah, those are great.

So remember when I was talking about choosing between Barcelona and Prague? They've chosen the cities for the meetings, and it looks like I will be spending the second half of September in Budapest and Berlin.

...the second half of September in Budapest and Berlin! I don't know how that happened.

I will be asking for travel advice in a couple months, globetrotters!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm watching a UFO documentary narrated by Michael Dorn. It is unintentionally hilarious.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oh! Budapest is WONDERFUL! I loved it so much!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Dorn does have a great narration voice, doesn't he? He makes everything he says sound so impressive, even when it is very silly.

I love the story Levar Burton tells of the time he invited Dorn onto Reading Rainbow to read "Chicken Little" to the kids. When he intoned the words, "The sky is falling!", the kids practically peed their pants in terror over such a disaster.

What's so wonderful about it? Does it feature in any of the Indiana Jones movies?

It's pretty and the people are lovely, if a bit reserved. Looking out over the Danube from Fisherman's Bastion made me teary. Plus you get two cities in one, croweded, bustling Pest and hilly, historic Buda. Metro is easy-peasy even for a novice like me. Still pretty inexpensive for Europe, and the food was amazing. There's tons to do even if you don't find a wandering party!

I could go on.
