Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We've been in the 80s and 90s for the past few days. I need to find some shorts that are packed away somewhere.

On the plus side, my apartment is a block and a half from the lake, so my place has not been too hot (depending on the wind direction, it can be 10 degrees cooler by the lake).

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We're headed to Mom's beach house for the long weekend this weekend, thank goodness. It should be much cooler there thanks to the ocean breeze.

Compassionately intolerant

Weather.com tells me it's 90, but FEELS like 91. Oh, the disparity!

I took my 3 o'clock nap at 1, but didn't really sleep. The poor pooch is panting periodically. Still, I'm resisting turning on the air. It's not sooo bad.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Shir, I'll be around to look at pictures, for a little while.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Well, in case anyone would like to advise (for limited time only, etc., and yes, this was shot using the shower mirror - I have no mirrors in my room): [link] [link]

(I believe you should be able to see these if you're my friend on Flickr).

I just can't make up my mind about the while fluffy front. Plus, asking you guys is helping me to procrastinate better.

Edit: thanks, WindSparrow!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I think it's adorable!

Punishingly Intricate

It's cute, Shir!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I like the concept of the shirt, Shir. Is it all one piece, and if so are they two different fabrics? The white part looks wrinkly - but I don't iron, so I don't think that's really a big deal.

OMG, so tired. Just trying to stay awake until I can get home and zonk out for a little, if Frankie will let me.

It is, but I think it's supposed to be this way. At least it was like that when I bought it.

(Oh, and thanks for the feedback, everyone!)
