Please, take ours - it's in the 90s here.
Heh, seems I'm not missing much. It's been in the 90s pretty much since we got here and I have to say, I'm getting used to it.
Just gotta accept that you're gonna sweat, try to take it easy, and walk in the shade.
I think I'm gonna make a reservation for this beer dinner. It's all local beers PLUS the dinner is hosted by Donald Link who has 2 awesome restaurants here that I LOVE: Cochon and Herbsaint.
Man, I had a yoga class this morning that kicked my ass!
Emeline was kissing on the playground again. Her and a little boy playing "Sleeping Beauty". Sigh.
And you get calls for this? Every day when I pick Mal up he tells me they were playing KISSY GIRLS!!!! again. (caps his).
I got a phone call, have to sign a thing and send it back with her tomorrow, and I have a sneaking suspicion there's a good chance if it happens again (this is the second time), she could get suspended.
I was greeted by a tray of baklava, including some amazing pistachio baklava, so that made things a little better.
I would like the opportunity to set up an independent investigation into the efficacy of pistachio baklava as a mood enhancer.
But I still need a hole drilled in my skull to let the demons out.
You have my sympathy. Icky nasty sinus pain.
We used to pin the boys down and kiss them because they hated it.
Just gotta accept that you're gonna sweat, try to take it easy, and walk in the shade.
It's the secret to living in the South.

Girls never did that to me.
They still don't.

Maycomb was a tired old town, even in 1932 when I first knew it. Somehow, it was hotter then. Men's stiff collars wilted by nine in the morning; ladies bathed before noon, after their 3 o'clock naps, and by nightfall were like soft teacakes with frosting from sweating and sweet talcum.
Er, sorry? Plei's already lectured me about this sort of weather meaning less jam.
Among other things. It also means you'll be shelling out more $$$ on your heating bills.
I *have* been taking 3 o'clock naps since moving down here.
Ah, the south.
