Oh hey I'll need some travel ~ma for SLNRLBF who is coming to see me on Thursday!
He has a weird flight schedule which includes getting off a plane in La Guardia, going out of a terminal, going back in and going through security to get on an other plane for a different airline.
In an hour.
of course in Atlanta he has a 2 1/2 hour layover. But anyway some smooth trip ~ma for him because I really want him for all the time i'm going to get him.

Not even worth going into but I've realized that I am on a committee that exists purely to say that there was a committee.
Frankly, I assume that all of my committees are like this. That way, it's a pleasant surprise on the extremely rare occasions that we get something done.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.
My towel and I are safely home, and Matilda provided much joy by telling me she wanted to show me something in the bottom lobby of the garage and then doing a long and elaborate dance, punctuated by hilarious "no, no, wait" hand gestures and commentary along the lines of "There are SO MANY GAMES to this finger, and I've never heard them before." Also, at one point, as I was urging her along and prodding her to hurry, she groused, "I am hurrying, Mama! Oh my WORD!"
And thanks for not calling me crazy lady. It just felt good, to remember the giddy wonder of devouring the H2G2 series on the commuter rail every night at 14 and 15 and itching for more, more, more. Good to feel that girl present again.
