'Shindig'
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
{{{Sean}}}, again. Really wish there was something I could do, right now, to make you feel better. Please listen to other Buffistas.
Fred Pete, how's things with you and kitties and all? (There's a chance I won't see your answer until (my) tomorrow, because I'm going to bed soon).

Thanks for the thought, Shir. Marie came home last night and is back to normal, except she meows a lot more than normally. (I think she's scolding us.) Max seems to be a little better, which is encouraging because he has to go through the lung wash tomorrow (our time).
We're nervous about Max, because anesthesia is risky with his lungs in such rough shape. But we can't make him better without finding out what's going on. (Well, we could throw random antibiotics at it, which I'd be willing to do if there were a good chance that it would actually work.) So we don't have much choice.
continued kitty~ma for Max.
Good luck and health to you and yours, Pete.
I wish life had "save" points.
Made it to Commander's Palace and proceeded to drink 3 martinis, and eat 3 courses of food- crawfish bisque, cochon de lait (with boudin! and greens!) and then that goddamned crazy Creole bread pudding soufflé with whiskey cream sauce which just about killed me. (with deliciousness, but still laid me out)
It's much closer to me than I'd visualized, and now I have one of the wait captain's cards and a new friend at CP! He said to me when I sat down, that "the afternoon is yours" which was nice.

Thanks for the thoughts. I expect to be dark tomorrow, but I'll update on Thursday.
And Sean, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!
