Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Sad news, lisah. I'm wishing you all peace.

And was today Tom W's first day? I hope it was delightful.

Seconded!

Oh my goodness, my soup was good tonight. I'm refining this variation on the vegetarian Italian Wedding soup. It's really more like a Franco-Italian Wedding soup because I'm using the (veggie) French Onion broth I like, but it was so good and hearty. A very satisfying repast with warm, crusty bread slathered in butter.

I'm sorry, lisah

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Are there meatless meatballs in your soup?

Indeed there are. From Trader Joe's.

Sean, glad the check came, P-C, glad you get to live.

FAY! Glad to hear you are retreating to a safer zone. You are very much in my thoughts. Hope kitty stays safe while you are making home outside.

How are our new New Orleans residents doing? How was Tom's first day?

G-C, and your first day? How did you do?

Pix, how is your neck doing? How was work with it? Is it subsiding?

My 2nd day involved a *lot* of walking around campus, learning a bit more of what is where. Meeting new folks, getting a LOT more keys, finally getting my e-mail address. Right now, very tired. Mostly legs. Was at work by 8:20. Jeesh. Not used to that. That is almost 2 hours sooner than I used to do.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Hey, all.

So sorry, Lisah, about your doggy.

You know, O-A, next week is the last class of the semester, and I still don't have keys to my classroom, or a voicemail set up.

The joys of adjuncting, I suppose. There are compensations.

Whew, I got a lot done today, and I am beat.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

{{{{lisah}}}}} so sorry for your loss.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{{{lisah}}}} I am so sorry.

Yikes! I got my voicemail working today too. Although the text for the phone still has Rebecca, the previous office occupant.
