Hmm... I think I've either got a latent buzz from the Sudafed I took 36 hours ago, or the congestion is making itself known once again. Everything feels really distant, my head is swimming, my ears are buzzing, and I'm nauseous.
I'm also really tired of this now.
I do a similar thing with diet tonic water
they make such a thing? So many yummy things have sugar/sugar-like things, so I have to study the diet options available. It'll probably be the phosphoric acid itself that I'm craving.
I can see the mail truck. Mailman needs to get here now.
Canada Dry has a pretty decent diet tonic water. While G&Ts are classic, I also like it with a couple of ounces of pomegranate or cherry juice.
Connie, here is the info from my friend -- health food stores often carry it as well
You can also buy it online for a lot less. It’s called Progest by Emerita [link] There are instructions with the cream. It’s different for women still menstruating. You use half as much as people in full blown menopause. As with anything you get used to how it feels and how much you use. I use a lot less now than when I started. I was very progesterone low and needed a lot to get balanced.
She says it saved her sanity.
I am planning that the mail truck has arrived with Sean's check by the time I finish typing this
Hil, bite into a lemon. My mom's therapist used this as a fix when she was having panic attacks, and it does help (unless you are addicted to eating lemons, as am I.)
Last Monday, I had a PA, for the first time in a long time; they're awful.
Beth, I marked that post--as I sipped from my diet Coke, damn the man! (or, more properly, the woman, since no one forced me to go to the vending machine)
I hope the mail truck has arrived laden with good things.
Now, if I could just figure out a way to get caffiene into a clear soda, I might just be golden.
Not actually clear, but lighter...Sunkist (only Sunkist) orange soda. My OT Orange soda for when I want caffiene but not caramel coloring (it makes me phlegmy sometimes). See also Mt Dew, not clear, but getting lighter...of course, I don't have either of those in front of me right now to check the phosphoric acid...
Hugs and ~ma to all who need/want them.
Work is eating me starting with my bottom today. Off to do my Monday Reports...whee.
Although, now I say that - were any other Spanish speakers (or semi-speakers like myself) ever bugged by the fact that there's no way that you could mistranslate "Desde abajo, te devoro" as "It eats you, starting with your bottom" - except maybe by translating from Spanish back to English, back to Spanish, back to English, etc.? Or am I the only one who's that pedantic in two languages?
