All right, no one's killing folk today, on account of our very tight schedule.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Am I a bad toad for cutting fruit juice half and half with club soda? It's the only "soft drink" I imbibe, other than an occasional ginger ale for tummy upset.

Straight juice is far too sweet. Right now I'm addicted to mango-peach-orange blend and the staple straight cranberry, which, not too sweet. But both need to be cut, either with plain water or plain soda, to be palatable. Is six ounces of club soda a day riddling my bones?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Calm-ma, Hil

Half fruit juice, half club soda is a common beverage in my extended family somtimes referred to as Sparkle Juice or Sprinkle Juice.

I do a similar thing with diet tonic water, Beverly.

Hil, I hope you feed better soon.

“Not dead yet!”

Hmm... I think I've either got a latent buzz from the Sudafed I took 36 hours ago, or the congestion is making itself known once again. Everything feels really distant, my head is swimming, my ears are buzzing, and I'm nauseous.

I'm also really tired of this now.

they make such a thing? So many yummy things have sugar/sugar-like things, so I have to study the diet options available. It'll probably be the phosphoric acid itself that I'm craving.

Canada Dry has a pretty decent diet tonic water. While G&Ts are classic, I also like it with a couple of ounces of pomegranate or cherry juice.
