Aw, cute.

Last week mom called and asked me to pick up two bowls and four plates for her at IKEA. Also I needed a new colander because there was one there I've wanted for years and mom liked my plastic one so it went home with her a couple of weeks ago.

Today I go to IKEA and get the plates, bowls and colander. And a bunch of plastic storage to put my grandmother's china and great-aunt's silver flatware in after the Great Squirrel Nesting Incident in my outside storage.

I tried calling mom but no answer so I texted that I was picking it up.

She just called me back.

She was at IKEA this afternoon too. And bought her plates and bowls and my colander.

Awesome.

She said she thought she'd "surprise me."

Almost done with my performance review. It is what it is. Always surprised by what I've done and saddened ashamed of what I've let slip.

I'm not entirely certain, but I think that in the last two years, the only movies Daniel and I have seen together in the theater have been movies with Robert Downey, Jr. in them. Not entirely certain what that means.

What a little snoodle! I would have to eat him up, I'm afraid.

Seems I've discovered what my smoke alarm sounds like. Seems my clean looking oven smokes like a chimney. Oy. Thankfully the pizza still tasted fine.

Leg up leg update: Leg is getting much better, but itching like crazy tonight. I had to take off the bandage and soothe it with some medical goop.

OTOH? Eating Blue Bunny No Sugar Added Mint Chip Ice Cream. Yum.
