[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

{{Pix}} I hope the drugs do their job and I'm sorry about the job.

The status is NOT quo.

Thanks everyone. Home, got meds, fed pets, and cleaned litterboxes so I don't have to deal with them for a couple of days, and ate a grilled chicken sandwich from McDonalds (desperate times and all).

I just took one of each drugs, so I expect to feel better right around the time I pass out. Soon, hopefully.

I'll stop hijacking the thread now. You all are the best.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I hope the meds kick in soon, Pix.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oh, Pix! The universe should back right the hell off.

Our wings are not tired

Sleep well sweetie. I hope the drugs give you some relief.

The status is NOT quo.

I should be feeling some relief by now, shouldn't I? Because I'm not.

Our wings are not tired.

Damnit, I wish I could send you some of the full flava codeine they gave me from my ear infection. Fucking geography.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ugh, Pix. At least 1/4 of my FB prescription for you came through. I hope it helps, and soonest.

So, I met with a therapist for the first time in 5 years. She was nice, and it makes me feel proactive, at least. Gave me perspective: in one year, I have: had a hysterectomy, met, moved in and married D., completely changing my solitary lifestyle, got fired, became a stepmom.

She was all "Hmm. Are you being too hard on yourself for catching a depressive swing in before it goes down, after all of these huge changes?"

Me: "Uhhh...yeah? That's what I do!"

OTOH, I got to list Buffistas as part of my support system, which you guys totally are, so I just wanted to give you all some love.

Good lord, guys, what an IMPACT this board has made on so, so many people. It's really fan-fucking-tastic.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I should be feeling some relief by now, shouldn't I? Because I'm not.

How long ago did you take the meds, and what did you take? I've usually found that ibuprophen takes about half an hour to kick in, codeine about 45 minutes, and Flexeril usually puts me to sleep before I can feel any effect, but then I feel much better when I wake up the next morning.

The status is NOT quo.

I posted when I took them, 5:18 board time, so maybe I just need to give it another 15 minutes. Thanks.
