Wow Hil! That's wonderful!
Also, {{Zen}}. You're a good kitty-mother. We all make mistakes with our pets, sometimes. Whatever they may be, it's still a lot better than letting them live in the street. And most importantly? You don't mean to do your pets harm. Much ~ma to the both of you.
Hil, that's exciting news!
Yay, Hil!
Five fire trucks just left my house. For the record, when there's smoke coming out of my floor, I call 911; try and fail to catch the dog who's in the fenced back yard; and head outside with leash, laptop, purse and keys.
Last Thursday the blower went out in my heat pump. That was depressing because I knew it would mean more deficit spending and, while the weather has been nice, my house is not set up for open windows and it's stuffy and warm. The repair is scheduled for Tuesday. Tonight the blower motor burned up.
Oh Ginger! So glad you're ok!
How bad was the damage? Smoke? Water?
OMG, Ginger, so glad you're okay! I'm anxious about the damage, too. Are you in the house tonight?
WTF is up with fires and this thread? Or, in other words: Bitches need to cool down.
Ginger, I'm glad your OK. But God, wow. Good luck with repairing it all.
Ok, that was more excitement than was strictly necessary. I'm glad you are ok, Ginger.
Yikes, Ginger! I'm glad you're ok and it wasn't a fire-fire.
Congrats, Hil! That's exciting! I hope you get it.
My Mother's Day was spent traveling back from Indiana. We met up with my in-laws to celebrate my SiL's Master's Degree. We had a nice dinner and lunch with the fam and the kids got to swim in the hotel pool. But it was a gruelingly long trip for such a short visit.
Wow, Ginger. Glad to hear you're OK.
Congrats, Hil, and job~ma for the last stage there!
Know what I love? Getting a phone call first thing in the morning accusing me of belittling and humiliating someone because they are not a homeowner and then threatened with a bag of shit on my desk.
I've finally stopped crying. Monday can suck my ass.
