You know it's been a long week when you wake up at 11.30am. Oops. This is what happens when there isn't a Girl here to run into the bedroom and say "Do you want to hear something horrible I read?" (her usual morning greeting).
We're having a heatwave
I am really envious. Rain and cold-enough-to-turn-the-radiators-on here. We usually have a short heatwave in April or May. I'm waiting.
Hil, it sounds like you made a good decision.
meara, that sucks. Here's hoping it's just a brief thing, and that she notices you after!
My BBC news widget has stopped working. Even my computer is protesting the current political situation.
P-C, I meant to post healing~ma for your grandfather, not sure what happened to the post. But I have been vibing for you and him.
Shir, it was 35 here this morning when I woke up (maybe 1C?). Too bad we can't split the difference.
P-C, I hope your grandfather is getting better. It was too low sodium, right? That sounds like it should be easy to fix, but I'm guessing it's more complicated then it sounds.
brenda, I hope you were able to pry yourself out of the sitch without maiming either of them.
Leo the Cat is acting like he has an upset tummy. He barfed three times in the last few hours, and now is listless and doesn't want to eat. Should I worry?

Yeah, my sister said they were having trouble drawing blood yesterday because they couldn't find a good vein, and they don't know what's going on, and he's "beyond confused."
Oh, {{P-C}}. Hang in there. I'm sorry you and your family are going through this.
Luckily, this doesn't seem as dire as the last time a grandfather was in the hospital. My mom's major concern is hoping this doesn't change their plans to let him stay with another of his sons in a couple weeks since he's irritating the shit out of her, as usual.
Good thoughts for your grandfather, P-C.
I'm dealing with my own medical crisis this morning. Mooshu threw up yesterday and then again, twice this morning. He hasn't eaten his breakfast and is a little sluggish. I'm worried that we're headed for another bout of what happened a couple of months ago, although this time, he doesn't seem to hurking up any hairballs, so hopefully, it's just an upset tummy.
{{P-C}}
I actually got some sleep last night, for the first time in several days. (Well, I had been sleeping, but nowhere near a full night's sleep since at least Wednesday.)
