Zoe: Next time we smuggle stock, let's make it something smaller. Wash: Yeah, we should start dealing in those black-market beagles.

'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I think Ellie will not only survive this, she will be absolutely fine.

ImemememeNews, I ended up calling in sick today because when I left school last night (at 9:30!!), a piece of my car was hanging off the underside. I thought it was part of my exhaust system. Took it to the shop today and it turned out to be a loose heat shield (I don't know what that is, that's just what I was told). They put it back on and tightened it up and I was on my merry way in 10 minutes. Best part? Cost=$0. Yay!!! Easiest car repair ever!!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I think you win at not being a helicopter parent. And reading comprehension.

This needed to be repeated.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Stephanie, that's the sort of thing that happens to me all the time. I'll do what seems obvious to me given the instructions, and everyone else will have done something else, and they'll be right and I'll think, wtf, am I a dummy? Frustrating.

Isn't a heat shield the part that kept falling off Serenity?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Much ~ma to your grandfather, P-C.

Trust my rage

Zenkitty hit the nail on the head. I hate feeling stupid because I followed the directions.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Isn't a heat shield the part that kept falling off Serenity?

Possibly. They called it the "primary buffer panel," right?

Punishingly Intricate

I hate feeling stupid because I followed the directions.

This was the story of the presentation I had to give yesterday for our gov't agency client. So frustrating!

Well, Serenity kept on flying and she was a good ship. That can work for my car. Just no Reaver attacks, please.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It's very odd that Firefly/Serenity is being discussed both here and Natter.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

It's very odd that Firefly/Serenity is being discussed both here and Natter.

Control freak!

There are constant shootings all night, and it's Friday night, so I'm pretty sure the firing range is closed. I'm somewhat happy that they're close enough not to come from the closest Palestinian city, but still.

Could be our forces, though. I heard 3-4 clusters of few dozens of shooting, but I have no idea what they're doing.

And that's very disturbing.
