Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Dr. Internet said that gnats love vinegar(which we always have; Mom uses it for tons of things) and so far this seems to be true. A bunch of them are doing the Sunset Boulevard thing in it right now, AIFG.

“Not dead yet!”

I also got this t-shirt [link].

Hee! Abby has that same shirt, smonster, although she's totally a Galinda girl, as opposed to Elphaba (so she also has the bright pink "Popular" shirt, although she's outgrown it). I have the bright purple one (don't know if they're still selling that one).

Shit's all sorts of different now.

so she also has the bright pink "Popular" shirt

I have 3. People keep buying them for me. It makes Joe laugh every time because of how much I insisted I was Elphaba when the show first came out.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I also got this t-shirt [link]. I'm a sucker for merch, sometimes.

I have a tshirt that I don't see there. I was pissed when I was buying merch because it was all baby doll Ts. I got an XXL and it barely fits. Fucking ridiculous.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Liese, have you been to El Morro (I think that's what it was called). That's the Conquistador place I mentioned.

Shir, yes, I thought about marking these posts yesterday while driving, so I marked last nights, now I gotta dig through the past week and find the others. Then I'll put them all in a LiveJournal entry with the pictures I took along the way.

So while the Motel 6 new design is cute, I give it a thumbs down. The non-carpeted floors are cold, no dressers (fine for a one night stay like I am doing, but would suck for a family going to Disney or something!), no tissue box, no alarm clock, no shampoo. The bed was fine, the pillows were super thin. And the towels are tiny and no fluff to them. But, it is very clean, so at least I didn't feel like I caught the plague here.

OK, time to find some breakfast, fill up the tank with gas, and drive into California!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

When bands I really really like tour, I sometimes want their merch. Problem with shirts is that most male bands don't even think of a baby doll or women's sizes, so when I buy the smallest size it's still a pajama which doesn't look good on me.

I wish more male band would talk it into consideration. I'd love to have their logos on my boobs.

Punishingly Intricate

HATE man-cut tees with their turtlenecks and big square sleeves. bah. When my band made shirts we made them for the ladies and the men!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

WTF, people:

I'm in the university's computer farm, and 3 girls just came and sat by my station. They talked loudly, and I gave them a look, and one of the girls caught it and apologized, said that they'll try to be more quiet.

Less than a second later, she sang a line out of a song, more loudly than the sound of their chattering.

The status is NOT quo.

Omnis, are you planning to stay with us tonight? Drew said he never heard back from you. You're welcome of course, but fair warning that the house is a sty. Sigh. Can't wait to see you, though!!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I'm listening to the soundtrack right now AIFG. I was pretty impressed that they've put an environmental spin on the "green" theme with organic tees and such. If a t shirt is going to be so damn spendy it better be organic.
