Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

We had a lot of fun totally cracking up at some of the lyrics when they got into their psychedelic period.

ya, and some of the chord progressions. Except the George songs. Oy. Lovely, but a bitch to play.

I rather hate the Cratchit scenes, as the word "cripple" is tossed about a lot, and that word makes me cringe.

There are quite a few sexist scenes in this show as well.

Indeed. It does show it's age.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Mmm, just ate me some leftover pie.

Compassionately intolerant

Thanksgiving was lovely. Big dinner with good friends.

I made two cranberry sauces (one savory with ginger and red wine vinegar, -my favorite- and one sweet with citrus) and a truly awesome pumpkin cheesecake. I used my Halloween pumpkin, which made me feel all virtuous. The crust was crushed almonds...gluten free and more awesome than you'd expect.

The cheesecake was voted best out of the 10 pies we had. (for 10 people, no lie. OVERkill) I will definitely be making it again.

It was a warm, but rainy day. Today? Wicked cold. Winter is surely here. brrrr.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hiya. I'm in Savannah. Most of the cleaning was done when we got here - my uncle cleaned the living rm furniture with a toothbrush - but I did get to clean up some spots on the carpet and wipe down the kitchen cabinets. Honestly, the whole house needs cleaning, painting, etc., but no time to do any of that now.

It's actually less stressful than it has been because all the tvs are off (no Fox News!) and we don't have to worry about my grandma. My parents are picking up my brother at the airport now.

Lovely to read about everone's time with friends and family.
