I haven't expressed my horror and sympathy for Nashville and the folks who are dealing with the flooding first hand, or who have friends and family there. Restored utilities and normality wished to everybody, as swiftly as possible.

ION, earlier today I wrote "PC" (no quotes) on my hand, obviously because I needed to remember something. Only now I can't remember what "PC" stands for. It's not Polter-Cow, because I would have hyphenated it, even on my hand. It's not computer-related. And beyond that, I got nothing.

Oof, Kristin, that is a completely ridiculous and supremely frustrating situation. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that bullshit!

And thanks for all the hugs, everyone. I just signed up to volunteer with a local relief org, which at least helps me feel like I'm doing something positive.

I have no perspective on it, and it's obviously all over the news here, so I don't know how bad it is in comparison to typical media-getting events. But it sure seems pretty awful from here.

ms. Pix -- You are doing everything right -- and even though the trip is a volunteer position - you understtod that expectations are formed- so you exceeded your obligations and informed everyone in advance. My feeling - the school has some big problems going on. New job ma ~~

And Hil I'm really pulling for you -- Job opportunities do seem to come this way -- all at once. DH had an interview with a co -- that if had talked to before he got a job that gives him room to breathe- would have been very interesting.

and I think PC stands for Pirate Chest. as in there is a map to one, you just have to remember it.
