I don't care if it is an orgy of death, there's still such a thing as a napkin.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Oof, Kristin, that is a completely ridiculous and supremely frustrating situation. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that bullshit!

And thanks for all the hugs, everyone. I just signed up to volunteer with a local relief org, which at least helps me feel like I'm doing something positive.

Weird that I've heard about the flooding in Nashville here and on facebook, but notreally on the media. Hrmph.

I have no perspective on it, and it's obviously all over the news here, so I don't know how bad it is in comparison to typical media-getting events. But it sure seems pretty awful from here.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It's not Polter-Cow, because I would have hyphenated it, even on my hand.

I appreciate that.

Maybe you need to buy a new PC? You want to read some Patricia Cornwell? You have to remember to be politically correct?

Coding and Sleeping

Only now I can't remember what "PC" stands for.

I'm guessing Penal Colony, so this has something to do with Australia. Maybe you needed to remember something about an odd and poisonous animal.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Kate and Ginger, much coping and recovery ~ma going out to you and yours.

Sorella, fuck 'em. Don't get me started on employers right now. My feelings towards my own have not changed since Friday when I spewed in-thread. They do not deserve us.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Maybe you need to buy a new PC? You want to read some Patricia Cornwell? You have to remember to be politically correct?

I cannot brain today; seriously, whatever it meant is long gone from my last 2 neurons.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Maybe you meant to write "BC" for "Before Christ", but subconsciously you were hungry for pizza, so what you really wrote was "Pizza Christ."

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Nashville~~~ has my ma heading there. I just can't imagine.

ms. Pix -- You are doing everything right -- and even though the trip is a volunteer position - you understtod that expectations are formed- so you exceeded your obligations and informed everyone in advance. My feeling - the school has some big problems going on. New job ma ~~

And Hil I'm really pulling for you -- Job opportunities do seem to come this way -- all at once. DH had an interview with a co -- that if had talked to before he got a job that gives him room to breathe- would have been very interesting.

and I think PC stands for Pirate Chest. as in there is a map to one, you just have to remember it.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Pix, what an absolute nightmare. I am so sorry.

Good to see Kate check in.

Toto's water dish gets rinsed daily and washed weekly. His food dish varies...

Speaking of the little guy, put sodium-free chicken broth in his water, and he's drinking again. Actually, he drank the whole bowl right after I did it. Silly goof.

I have been given an an assignment at work that quite frankly has given me way too much power. I am creating the background graphics for the lower school's play on the 13 Colonies. And I've been told to take whatever liberties I want. I'm trying to figure out what "points" I'd like to subtly make on my way out the door...

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

((((Kristin)))) That is such BS.

(((Kate and other Nashville peeps))).

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Oh Kristin - that is such BS, as has been said. May her ears sprout green and fuscia fur.
