What? I'm not allowed to hit people? Wesley: Not people capable of genocide. Angel: Those are exactly the types of people I should be allowed to hit!

'Just Rewards (2)'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Coding and Sleeping

Nothing is more intimidating than a live performance of the 1812 Overture, though the direction in which the cannons are pointing is an important variable.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Was that a Calvin and Hobbes comic where a kid (Calvin?) was impressed that there was a classical music song with real cannons?

Compassionately intolerant

They're living with me, they get their toilet flushed and their dishes washed as often as mine.

I like this philosophy!

Thanks so much for all the great data. I'm noodling a theory about environment and health, where pets are concerned, and it is really helpful to get a sense of pet people's habits.

Sparky, the table climbing is part instinct (food!Iwillfindit) but it's mostly a boundary issue. The table, the baby, the food...they all belong to you. This is a concept, about which, the Sass is currently confused. Try going back to 'nothing in life is free' by making her wait for her food and other rewards. ESPECIALLY, remind her to ask for permission to get on any furniture.

It's a pain, because you have to be patient in a time when patience is at a premium...but it really is the only way.

Here is the info on the walk workshop: Saturday, May 15, 4pm Wonderful Walks: Making walks the best part of your day Join the pack and finally end that pulling problem. Develop great skills for happy and healthy outings.

We'll be in front of Chateau Animuax for the info portion of the program, then we'll walk across 8th, and up to Marion Park (6th and E SE) for the skills practice.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

To be filed in the weird dreams file:

Dreamt about Patsy Cline's death and how her life story was turned into a comic book movie, complete with Don Cheadle as the pilot who survived and came back as "Phoenix".

That is the very last time I drink McDonald's orange drink before bed.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Paging Hil - recs on ankle braces? amyth has a torn ligament and probably needs surgery but won't be able to get it for a while.

I'll drink from the same water glass for days in a row. But I freely accept that I'm odd.

PMSing and NEED CHOCOLATE OMG.

Aims, I dreamt last night that someone gave me a rescued kitten to nurse, and I did. Apparently that Big Cats video inspired some maternal feelings.

Yeah, I don't think it's that odd. Also, now feels really guilty about how I take care of my animals! But...they've lived a pretty long time and seem happy! and sheesh.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

When I destroyed my ankle a couple of years ago, I wore an ASO ankle brace, and it worked wonders. I recommend it unreservedly.

I do this, too.

Psst. They're not people. They don't need human standards of living to be happy.

My guilt reflex is very sensitive lately. It doesn't take much.
