Sail, the statistics aren't good for your cousin's fiancee, but statistics lie. If you look at the statistics, they almost all say somebody lived. My theory was it might as well be me. Lung cancer kills more women than breast cancer, but doesn't get nearly the attention and funding it needs, in part because people have a notion that, since most lung cancer is related to smoking, it's somehow the "fault" of the person with lung cancer. One, some people with lung cancer may have it from secondary smoke and some from no known risk factors. Two, that's a pretty harsh sentence for person who may have taken up smoking when he was young and stupid and later quit.
