They should film that story and show it every Christmas.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

vw, that could work. what time would you want to get started tomorrow? I have a brunch at 10:30 but the stuff I need to do will take a good chunk of time, so we could start before or after.

(and if anyone wants to do it now, that works, too. lots of stuff.)

Either works for me. I hope to be up and off to the laundromat around 7. I've got total spring cleaning laundry to do. I've got the crackberry, so I can be reached anywhere.

(eta: I can totally do it now too, though it would be more for you. I'm off to babysit, but I'll have the crackberry.)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Coming in late, but Fuck Cancer.

Like a motion to adjourn, Fuck Cancer is always in order.

Sail, the statistics aren't good for your cousin's fiancee, but statistics lie. If you look at the statistics, they almost all say somebody lived. My theory was it might as well be me. Stephen Jay Gould, who lived 20 years after being diagnosed with mesothelioma, Anne, says it better and mathier. [link]

Lung cancer kills more women than breast cancer, but doesn't get nearly the attention and funding it needs, in part because people have a notion that, since most lung cancer is related to smoking, it's somehow the "fault" of the person with lung cancer. One, some people with lung cancer may have it from secondary smoke and some from no known risk factors. Two, that's a pretty harsh sentence for person who may have taken up smoking when he was young and stupid and later quit.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I need to send out a cry of "Fuck Cancer" as well. My step-grandfather was just diagnosed with mesothelioma. Chances of survival are about nil.

{{{Anne}}} I'm so sorry. That is what my father died from. Was he in the Vietnam War? A recent study came out that linked mesothiloma to Agent Orange.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I'm sorry, Anne.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Chiming in on the Fuck Cancer!

If any supernatural force exists that could affect cancer, it would be Buffista~ma.

Indeed, ~ma to all Buffista families and their cancer fights.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

vw, smonster, there are some things I need to get moving on. I would like to join you. I'm not entirely certain my goals are as intensive as yours, but what really matters is, if I never get started, they will never get done. And at the rate I'm going, it's just not happening.
