I'm so glad Frankie and smonster found each other.
'Same Time, Same Place'
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
:: Streeeeetch :: Whew! 10 hours of much needed sleep. Once zonked, I didn't wake for anything. Don't recall any tossing/turning, bumps in the night, noise from neighbors, NOTHING. If there was a tornado siren, I slept through it. It. was. AWESOME! Then took a lovely hot shower, with excellent water pressure, like hot daggers penetrating my muscles. Almost worked out all the kinks in my lumbar area. Discovered I have an unseen bruise just above my left knee on the inside. After pondering a moment, I realized what it was from. When you sit at a chair, and can't lift well, you tend to use your legs as inclined planes/fulcrums/etc to help get them stacked. Well, that was the point many a box corner jabbed me as it made it's way up the chain. I still don't get it. I had everything but the furniture stacked in the dining room. A 6x6ish room. Most stacks dolley high. Whatever. It's on the road, and so am I.
Since the shower was so long, I'm missing the free breakfast. I don't care. Sleep and shower was more important. Oy. That felt good. And for the record, Hyatt suites are NICE!
Off to OK City, and hopping on Route 66 today! Weather looks to be ok too! Woot!
Congratulations on furthering auntiehood, Seska! Welcome to the world, Ivy. May your family dote on you.
Pleasant travels, omnis. Take lots of pictures!
Could I get a "back off Universe" chant going? My cousin called last night to say he was engaged, which is a huge YAY! However, his finace has stage four lung cancer and the prognosis is that only 50% of people make it to the eight month mark and 10% to five years. The cousin is hoping for five years, but it's going to be long and hard either way. I'm just tired of seeing my family, close or far, taking it in the shorts this year. Bah. Fuck cancer.
Fuck cancer! Back off universe!
Fuck cancer! Much ~ma for the loving couple, that they get many happy years together, in spite of the odds.
Fuck cancer.
They should have pins like that.
Thanks, all. I really want M and his fiance to have as much good time together as possible. He's a fantastic guy, very supportive of the females in his life and he was a boon when my brother was dying of cancer. The man is very nearly a saint with ill family members. I'm just afraid he's taking on more than he'll be able to handle, so all the positive vibes I can get going for him, I'm gonna start a tidal wave.
Lots of vibage, Sail.
Sail I'm sorry lots of ~ma to your family.
So much ~ma, Sail.
And Fuck Cancer straight up the ass with a rusty chainsaw.
