A year and a half ago, I could have eviscerated him with my thoughts. Now I can barely hurt his feelings. Things used to be so much simpler.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

Maria, vent away and don't apologize. It's one of the things we're here for.

Seriously. Along with cocktails, commiseration, Cabana Boys, and Weir-gasms

Our wings are not tired.

Heh, java. I know about the regulations change because Bells Bargo now has a thrilling little infopage on its website telling customers all about the fabulous new opportunity they have, starting July 1, to opt into their completely splendid ATM card overdraft protection program for a mere $35 a pop.

Yeah, I opted out of BofA's. If I don't have the money in my checking account when I use my debit, I want them to decline the purchase.

They also changed the rules about the order in which debits are received. Banks would "cash" the largest debit that came in, even if it was the third item of the day, first. That way, the other smaller debits would be charged overdraft fees - but there would have only been one fee if they'd put the smaller debits through first.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Skippity-skipping over two hundred-plus posts to say, Congratulations on the job offer, Hil!

And also, Yay for successful surgery for The Girl's father.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Okay. Poked around a bit (JenK had recommended the SF Firefighters Credit Union), and the Yelp reviews are really really selling me. I'm pretty certain that once the current round of bills clears and we're all square with the current bank, we're moving.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Adding to what javachik posted, I believe they will now have to process deposits first brfore debits.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Well, we're about 70% moved and I'm exhausted. My Fucking Uncle has been doing drive-by's all freaking day. Assface.

15 more hours and we're done. Thank God.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ow. Headache. Maybe scotch isn't so nice.

Are you sufficiently hydrated? Important when boozing....
