Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It is decidedly half tutu.

I even told him (in my MIND) that he was a naughty boy to WEAR a half tutu to try and pad his imminent spanking and that I'd merely LIFT the tutu and spank him harder for it.

And since his butt is so firm I'd surely hurt my hand and he'd have to apologize for that too...

(Um, we're not sure why, but Johnny makes me very toppy. Not just me, it seems. I met a good dozen of The Internet today and the phenomenon is widespread if not universal.)

Oh, and I'm going to meet him next week at an AIDS Walk benefit. Living in New York is sometimes so very very sweet.

Oh, and if anyone would like to sponsor me for AIDS Walk NY you can do so here.

(For those of you keeping track at home, that's two benefits in two weeks. Actually, I know he did yet another last week too. Not family friendly my half-ruffled-half-lame ass.)

I get the feeling I'm not going to get much sleep tonight. Ugg. Ok, the desk is is dismantled and wrapped and ready to go. Now all that's left is clothes, kitchen (gotta do dishes), chatchke dust collector schtuff, and cleaning. Oy. Taking a brief water break while watching Daily Show. Movers arrive in roughly 8+ hours.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I've been rafting on the Deliverance river and can confirm that it is a) nowhere near Hil, and b) not actually in Georgia.

Also that we did not get kidnapped by hill folk.

Also also that Hil's advisor is a dick.

Hang in there Omnis.

...there's a lot of Hil and hill in that post, Brenda. Are you sure you did not get kidnapped by Hil, and are trying to send a secret message?!?!?

Or that Hil has kidnapped her advisor, and that is the sign that we need to come up with an alibi? (Crap, did I give it away?)

So my new bedroom faces east, and has huge windows. It's all rising sun fabulosity. I keep waking up like, an hour before my alarm, thinking "Is it time to get up? Surely it's alarm time" and it's only 7:30AM (and that's after waking up a bunch of times earlier in the morning, noticing it's light out, hearing people driving through the alley, going back to sleep, etc). I don't want to wear a sleep mask, because I'm appreciating the "morning light makes me wake up!" effect, and I think a sleep mask would mess with that...I think I just need to go to bed earlier. But...that means going to bed earlier! Sigh.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I am rubbish, and have missed 320 posts here because I've been working. Poor excuse. Anyway, I wanted everyone to know that The Girl's father had surgery yesterday, and it went really well, and they got all the cancer out (along with half of his pancreas and quite a bit of his stomach!) - and it's now just a case of how well he recovers. It's good good news and we are happy. All the ~ma has been much appreciated. (Will put an abbreviated version of this in Beep Me.)

How is everyone here? What did I miss?

T minus 6 hours. Bedroom (except closet) is all but done. Living room too. Gotta do dishes, finish hall closet, pack clothes & bedroom closet, and bathroom. Maybe shower and sleep? Rehydrating break for a few minutes. I hate moving.
