Angel's lame. His hair goes straight up, and he's bloody stupid!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Good thoughts, Kristin! Hopefully it's a fantastic fit all around and they beg you to come teach there.

I wish I could be helpful there. Really, you have no idea.

Me too. The only thing better would be helping friends polish off booze *and* string cheese.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Vacuum-packed gnocchi is nowhere near as good as frozen gnocchi. However, my stomach seems to have settled down some.

Lots of good thoughts, Kristin. Hope it works out for you.

The status is NOT quo.

Thanks, all.

In less good news, I just took Zoe to the vet because she was limping. She's torn her back leg ligament. If we choose surgery, it would be thousands of dollars. Don't know yet if we will need to. She's on rest and low food for the next two weeks. If she doesn't improve, we need to look at surgery.

I must have a major financial karma debt to pay, is all I'm saying. I want to cry.

Our wings are not tired.

Pix, what are the alternatives to surgery? Can she get a cast on? Do ligaments heal themselves? I am stupid about this stuff.

The status is NOT quo.

If it's torn completely, no treatment but surgery will work, and because she's overweight she runs the risk of tearing the other ligament. There are support braces, so I can look into that. If it's only partially torn, it should heal to some extent, though she'll never walk normally again.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Poor Zoe! (And poor Pix) Vibing hard that medical treatment works.

Our wings are not tired.

Byron will enjoy the company of goofy walkers!

But seriously, I am sorry to hear this! Poor Zoe and poor you.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh Kristin, that's such a bad bunch of news. I'm sorry.

“Not dead yet!”

Oh no, Kristin, poor you and poor Zoe! Lots of ~ma that it can be resolved without surgery.
